Bus Lines are communicating electronic lines that connect differient parts of the CPU to various other parts. Bus Lines also link the CPU to differient parts on the Motherboard of your computer. The data flows in the form of bits along the Bus Lines. The more Bus Lines there are on the system the greater the rate of transfer of data along the bus, which means that the computer can run efficiently and will peform the operations at a faster rate.
There are several types of Bus Lines:
Industry Standard Architecture but is slow.
Peripheral Component Interconnected- fast and used widely in PC's.
